One-Eyed Jacks (1961)
Sheriff Dad Longworth (Karl Malden) Coat

After robbing a Mexican bank, Dad Longworth takes the loot and leaves his partner Rio (Marlon Brando) to be captured but Rio escapes and searches for Dad in California where he has become the town's Sheriff.

This Jacket can be seen being worn by actor Karl Malden throughout the film in most of the time he spends on screen

The Coat which is now over 60 years old, is mostly in original condition to when it was used on screen in the Marlon Brando directed Western, it has had the lower button on the front replaced during its lifetime on film productions, and a light red stain near the buttons is also present (possibly stage blood)
The inside lining may of also been changed during its lifetime

On the lower back there is some signs of Moth holes from where it sat in studio storage for many years, the coat has since been treated, and has a slight musty odour, again from studio storage conditions

The inside lining shows signs of wear and tears from its use

Inside the inner pocket there is a western costume label stating the actors name typed into it (with a slight typo in the spelling of the actors name)

The piece was originally tailored for Karl Malden's role in 'One-Eyed Jacks' however after filming it was placed into rentals and would have been used on multiple productions in the immediate years afterward, until it was retired and placed into storage, where it remained for decades.

This historical piece of Western Film History remains in overall good production used condition

This piece comes with a COA from 'Props in Motion Online' which is guaranteed for life
