About Donald Rimgale...
Donald was a real life Hero, he was originally a Chicago fireman who turned arson investigator and in 1991, A film was made called Backdraft, where Robert De Niro played Donald Rimgale on screen.
Donald played a small part in Backdraft, and picked up the acting bug, where he went on to play small roles in films, mostly uncredited, throughout the 1990s.
Sadly he passed away in 2017, and this piece came directly from Donald's estate.
