Ichneumon Wasp from the series 'Fortitude' (2015-2018)

The Ichneumon Wasp is a prehistoric parasitic wasp. They are the main cause of the induced psychosis and murders in the town of Fortitude throughout the series. They incubated in the body of the mammoth for thousands of years, preserved by the permafrost. However, when the frost melts, the prehistoric parasites are released into Svalbard.

Vincent can be seen holding the wasp in his tweezers during a scene where he holds it to Natalie's Eyes.
The practical prop wasp was then replaced with a CGI wasp for the close up where it stings her eyeball.

The wasp was expertly created for the production of resin material and it remains in overall good production used condition.
